"Too late, already sitting up," she said as cheerfully as she could. "You most certainly do not have to go, you were just hoping I'd stay asleep." She knew it wasn't really her presence he minded so much as the fact that Charlie could walk in at any moment. Despite Percy's fears, however, Penny was pretty certain Charlie wouldn't flip out if he knew that Percy had visited her. It was the polite thing to do, after all. Charlie would probably be more offended if Percy had ignored the situation. She didn't voice her thoughts, though.
"I see them. Whether or not you remembered my favorite colour or it was a happy accident, thank you." Penny took a deep breath, a hand covering the area where she was bruised. "Good. Were you at the Ministry last night?" she asked. "I...I distracted the Quintaped while Angelina sent a Patronus note. She had a bit of trouble, though..I wasn't sure if it worked." She started blinking furiously to stop the tears from coming; it was while she'd been distracting the beast that she'd noticed the body.
