While she knew how blunt Daphne could be when it came to Astoria mentioning boys she'd seen recently, it still shocked her a little and it took a few seconds to regain her composure, despite the fact that her sister was in another room. "Oh..! Oh, no. I, well, no! He just seems so very lonely sometimes and I just haven't seen him in so long. He was always very kind in school."
Her eyes followed the cat out of the room and she stood to move to the kitchen as well, lifting Daphne's teacup from the table and bringing it in there with her. Using her wand she cleaned the cup in seconds and opened the cabinet to put it in it's rightful place - she'd been to Daphne's flat so many times that she knew where most anything was, just as Daphne knew her flat that well.
There was still a faint tint of pink on her cheeks as she turned around to watch her sister and the cat. "It went well, though. He's still very nice of course, and I think that he really did like it!" A smile spread across her lips and she had to bite down on her bottom lip softly to contain her giddiness.
