Penelope was feeling quite nervous about her impending date. Not only was she trying to make it up to Charlie for nearly deserting him but she was also wearing an outfit that made her feel slightly uncomfortable. She knew it didn't look bad but the way that the black leather pants hugged her legs made her feel a bit self-conscious. She just hoped there wasn't a lot of sitting down going on this night - Penny wasn't sure if her legs could bend enough. She'd gone with a lacy-but-opaque top with capped sleeves - all black wasn't usually her thing, but she figured a concert could always be an exception.
Her hair had been straightened completely for the occasion and she was starting to be pleased that she'd had the presence of mind to grab a jacket beforehand; the night air was already starting to cool. Penelope was smoothing her hair anxiously when Charlie finally answered the door. She'd only been waiting a few moments but she felt extremely conspicuous wearing this outfit in public and not at the concert venue. Her eyes widened at the sight of him actually wearing the pants. She hadn't been sure if he was joking or not. "I could get used to those pants," she said, cheeks coloring a little as she attempted not to stare at his lower half.
