From the scroll he'd been reading, Percy lifted his eyes to see Penny entering... without knocking. It was a pet peeve of his, people coming into his office without first knocking - Penny was no exception. Really, she should've known better, and he reckoned she'd done it on purpose, simply to get a reaction. This elicited a sigh as he sat back in his seat and put down the scroll, but he wasn't going to chastise her. When under a such a time schedule as his, Percy had learned how to direct his energy for maximum efficiency.
Smiling a little, by way of greeting, he accepted the coffee from her with a polite "Thank you", and took a sip. "Yes, very thoughtful," he repeated." A thought then crossed his mind and he suddenly became serious, asking, "Is there something wrong with the Healers?" He hoped that Penny's arrival wasn't a herald of bad news, since she was working closely with the Chinese project.
