As much as he'd been told at nursing was a lot of work, he never knew exactly how much work it really was. Granted, he was better off than Audrey because his work was just downstairs from their house. He was able to have a little bit of the pre-Fred life back more quickly. He was determined to be the best father he could be to this beautiful baby, and part of that was being supporting of Audrey.
George was tidying up a little when he walked into the living room to see Audrey nursing Fred on the sofa. "Hey" he said, running his hands up and down her arms. "You alright?" He'd been feeling a bit of the negativity coming off of her but wrote it off to stress he was feeling too.
