Verity wasn't really much for the jokes. Out of the three of them, Verity had been the 'straight man,' or the one that the Twins were climbing over themselves to make laugh. She was very good at her job--keeping things neat, organized, stocked, and keeping up with the finances of the shop, pricing and ordering to keep George up to his ears in inventions and new products... it was all a part of her Type A nature. But she wasn't a jokester. That may have been why they worked out so well together.
"Shh." Verity said. She pulled out her wand and flicked it, and a deck of cards appeared on Fred's headstone. Every other card was a joker.
"I imagine that you're feeling a little guilty about being so happy with Audrey. And you're sad because you miss your brother. But it's okay to feel happy and sad at the same time." She added, squeezing his arm and pocketing her wand once more.
