Kherrie broke into a grin, easily keeping up with him at first. She put on a bit of speed, her horse's nose just passing his, but it was short lived. At least it was fun. She wouldn't mind him winning, really.
They came to an open meadow where they could turn around and run the horses in the sunshine and open air, rather than on the wide trotting path. Kherrie turned and galloped off into the middle of the field.
