Luckily for Adrian, the interview was over. No one would admit it aloud, but even the little Katie and Adrian had said would be more than enough fuel for the fire; the press and public would clamour over their unorthadoxed lifestyle, out of wedlock bastard child, and blasie attitude towards it all. Only, the press liked it that way.
After leaving, the interview, Katie insisted they stop on the way home for pastries. She had a hankering for something buttery, and was a little nervous about going home right away. She couldn't decide if she should bring up what had been disclosed in the interview or not.
