Daphne was, much to her dismay, the last on the scene. She had been in the shower when Verity arrived home, and as soon as she heard Margaret yelling, she dried herself off as best as she could and quickly dressed. When she heard Oliver calling out to her, she made a quick stop at the kitchen for a pot of warm water (the wash clothes she took with her from the bathroom) and brought a few towels with her, just for good measure.
She was moving very quickly until she finally reached them, at which point Daphne slowed down considerably and looked upon them in absolute horror. But Daphne carried on nonetheless, moving to place the pot of water onto the floor by their feet. Her hair was still sopping wet, but she paid no attention to it. She was too busy feeling a mixture of relief and worry to care about it. She sat on the floor with the three of them, silently, waiting to be told what to do.
