Penelope had woken up early this day. She'd gone to bed plenty early the night before and had woken up with a purpose in mind: bring Ginny some sort of gift. Today also happened to be the day that the foreign Healers from China arrived and she'd need to look professional. This was how Penny found herself in the St. Mungo's lobby in a tailored black dress with her hair pulled back in a tight chignon and a large basket of chocolate-dipped fruit in her hands.
The witch at the front desk told her where Ginny's room was and that her entire red-haired family seemed to be in attendance. Pursing her lips, Penny asked if someone would be available to take the basket to the girl's room. After handing over her large basket to a volunteer, Penelope strode out of the hospital as fast as she could before meeting any Weasleys.
The note attached to the basket reads:
Ginny,
I am truly sorry for your loss and wish you a speedy recovery.
The best revenge is to keep living.
- Penelope Clearwater
PS: Flowers are useless. I hope you like fruit and chocolate.
