"You did." Hannah answered with a smile, her tone still somewhat hushed as they walked along. She knew that talking rather than whispering wouldn't change the fact that Lucy was starting to get tired, but she still instinctively kept it low. She knew Lucy could get a bit wound up and the mixture of tired and wound up wasn't a pleasant one.
"Hopefully, eventually, things will be rather relaxed as a whole with everyone... but in the meantime, it was a good impression and you did a good job." Even with nerves, in Hannah's opinion. Really, she was known to let her nerves get the better of her on occasion. She could understand it.
"And I really appreciated you adding them to dinner." It was a rather big deal to her that her father approved.
