"I said I would do it and I meant it. I think the therapist needs someone to update her a tiny bit on some of the details of what's going on without chattering her head off, anyhow, and you know Mum." Astoria immediately replied, her shoulders slumping as Daphne's head went into her hands.
"You could've told me that you were happy for me. That would've meant the world coming from you. You have no idea how terrified I was that I was going to lose my big sister in there..." Astoria shook her head, moving to leave the room. "I'll stay around for the rest of today, pop back for tomorrow morning, and then I'll butt out."
