As much as Daphne made it seem like it was about herself, whenever she brought a man home who was less than the family's ideal, she didn't truly care what was said to her. Daphne's only concern was how he would be treated. Daphne didn't find telling Niall to piss off to be all that impressive. That was something that seemed natural to her. "I didn't want her to treat him like he wasn't good enough for me because he's not rich or pureblood or whatever."
