Daphne looked at her incredulously. She felt that, if she had been in Astoria's shoes, she would have known why it was such a big secret. For a few moments Daphne could only stare at her, unsure of what she should say next. That didn't last very long, though.
"Honestly? You can't see why I never told you that?" she asked, and she was interrupted by a knock at her bedroom door. It was Niall, wondering if everyone was all right in there. Daphne, all wound up now, told him to piss off. After Daphne felt that he was gone, she got back onto her train of thought. "I never told you because it never mattered." She wasn't shouting anymore. "And it was such a big secret because I wanted to tell anyone -- least of all you."
