"Of course I can't understand. Then again, I do understand how little it matters what people think of what daddy did. I understand how little it matters what people think of Draco and the Malfoy family - I know the real Draco. I know that Narcissa is an utter dear most of the time. So no, Daphne, I don't understand what it's like to have my private thoughts torn out and aired. I just know that, if you're genuinely worried about Dean's trust, Dean ought to be the one you're worried about." Astoria couldn't help it. She had always told Daphne the truth and hearing her sister talking like she was made it impossible for Astoria to back away from it. Astoria didn't want to add pressure and hurt Daphne, but couldn't cushion it all. Daphne deserved happiness and if things went south with Dean due to this, Astoria wasn't sure where her sister would end up.
"Let the marketing down at Luxe figure out how to deal with the bad publicity or, if it goes too far south, transfer the company and then do a name swap and make it seem like it's different for the sake of appearances. Swap a logo, do some new ads if you have to. Past the company and Dean, why do you really give a shite, Daphne?"
"I'm not trying to minimize what you went through. It was horrible here - let alone in there. I don't want to lose my sister, though, and I don't want to see you get lost."
