It was true. Daphne wasn't her normal self after what had happened. The was a big part of her that wished she could crawl away and hide for the rest of her life. Daphne had finally found a fight she didn't feel like she could win.
"He's not the only one I need to explain things too," Daphne muttered as she picked her head up and look at Astoria through the mirror. "You don't understand what it like, having your most private thoughts torn from your mind and broadcast for all to hear," she said with more conviction. "Things you never wanted to anyone to hear. Unless you have, you can't understand how difficult it is to try to get on from that."
