WHO: Neville and Hannah
WHAT: Steak and Potatoes are a must for the impending full moon
WHEN: Fore-dated to Tuesday Night
WHERE: The Leaky Cauldron
RATING: TBA
He still had his arm heavily bandaged from the bite wound. The past week had done little to heal it but to close the surface wound to stop germs from getting in. Neville kept the bandages clean and kept his arm in a sling to keep the wrist immobile.
Neville had been feeling it all week. It was such a simple thing, but the change was noticeable. The moon had passed the Waxing Gibbous and his senses started tingling. For the past twenty four hours he had been feeling alive, excited, and hungry for meat. Another odd thing had happened today. Neville had passed a billboard he had passed every day on his way to a cafe for lunch and reacted much differently. Neville had walked right by the perfume ad with the nearly naked witch covered in only her long blonde hair, thinking it was silly every day before. Today when he had passed it, he had stopped to stare at it and then felt quite uncomfortable and distracted for some time after.
It was hard to focus on anything. Neville had gone to his martial arts classes (his muggle instructors thought he was a police officer and that he was bitten by someone on drugs). His senses had been heightened but his strength was off. It wasn't that Neville thought he was stronger, he just had lost the ability to reign it in. He felt more powerful and blows that were supposed to be soft had accidentally bruised his sparring partners.
Neville finally came to the Leaky Cauldron past eight. The streets were getting quiet around Diagon Alley. He went right up to the bar. Neville didn't see Hannah, so he grabbed a menu, thinking he needed a rare steak today instead of the usual.
