who: Eleanor and Audrey what: El is helping Aud get a few things together so she can stay at her place for a while. where: Audrey (and George's) and then Eleanor's when: backdated to January 10, evening rating: PG/PG-13?
Eleanor had the past three days off of work, so she had spent Saturday, Sunday and Monday living like a Muggle. She had ignored the magical radio, and she only ever read the Prophet in the mornings, before the Menagerie opened. So she had no idea what went on at the WWN until Audrey told her in one of her owls.
Eleanor showed her father the letters from Audrey, and even though she knew it wouldn't be a problem, he said that she could stay with them for as long as she needed to. Eleanor put on her shoes and coat and went outside to catch the Knight Bus. When she got on, she found out that there were a few more stops to go before she would be let off at Audrey's, so Eleanor took a few moments to think about what Audrey had said.
There were hostages at the WWN. George didn't want the baby anymore. The Death Eaters force fed the hostages Veritaserum. George confessed things that made Audrey upset. Eleanor wondered if George said something about Angelina.
Thinking about it all made Eleanor want to cry.
She was finally let off at her stop, and she took her wand out of her bag and held it tightly as she walked the final distance to Audrey and George's. She knocked on the door, wondering if Audrey would be crying and already planning to give the biggest, tightest hug it was possible to give a pregnant woman.
