"Please don't." Daphne sounded so pitiful when she spoke. She wasn't trying to play for sympathy, either. She genuinely didn't want him to get up for any reason. The were ways to work around any awkwardness.
She shrugged slightly. "I'm not sure. I think I heard someone say that I need a psychiatric evaluation before they let me go." Daphne wasn't positive, though. She hoped she had heard wrong. "They might want my statement before they release me too." Daphne hoped they didn't. They last thing she wanted to do was have to relive it by talking about the whole thing.
