WHO: Aurors (Harry, Ron, Neville, etc)
WHAT: Busting Up a Hostage Situation
WHEN: EARLY Sunday Morning
RATING: PG13? Violent
A retired maid had come forward telling about a secret passage she had found years before. The WWN had bought the building in '82 to expand but before it had been the home of an affluent witch, the last of her line, who had died in '80 of natural causes. She had worked there for five years and her son had actually found the passage. Harry had taken the info Sunday night and worked all evening to set the plan. He had napped from 8 to midnight in his office and as the time turned to Monday morning, Neville and Ron met up for the sting.
Harry had his cloak. He would go first. He would get in and take down the brain trust, then call in Neville and Ron for backup. He moved through the passages, his own feet charmed to muffle their noise. He slipped out of the walls and walked, crouching low so the cloak wouldn't reveal even the slightest flash of shoes, and slipped into the studio after Dorado. The door locked behind him. Corvis was napping in the cushy host's chair and Mulciber was writing out his speech for the morning. Harry dropped some Instant Darkness powder. Before anyone could say Lumos, Harry dropped a sleeping draught. He heard glass breaking and then Dorado and Mulciber hit the floor. Harry had a filtration mask on, one that George had designed for the Aurors ages ago.
Harry pulled a Galleon out of his pocket and charmed it. The signal cued Ron and Neville, who came in through the passage. Harry set to binding Mulciber, Dorado, and Corvis and took their wands.
Ron and Neville came out, wands blazing. They had each other's backs. Neville was in charge of defensive spells, making sure that Death Eaters didn't turn their wands on hostages. Harry tore out of the studio to help. There were only four more Death Eaters for the three of them to take care of and they made quick work of three of them. Ron was crouched down, tying one up, when the last Death Eater, Nero Gamp, came out of the bathroom behind him.
Neville got between Gamp and Ron, knocking in to the ground. The two wrestled for a moment before Gamp sank his teeth into Neville's forearm. Neville clocked him on the side of the head, stunning him. Harry cast a stunny spell at the pair. They could straighten Neville out later, but not if Gamp killed him.
Five minutes later the Department of Magical Law Enforcement was in, carting off the seven Death Eaters and bringing hostages to St. Mungo's. Neville went along to the hospital. Magic wasn't knitting up the bite on his arm.
