Ritchie hadn't spoken to Kherrie in some time. Most of that was his fault really. Cleaning up his parents' old house apparently took a lot out of him, but he was glad that it was finally inhabitable now. Plus, his new job also added a bit of stress to his life. It wasn't that the job was all that difficult or anything, but he wanted to make a good impression, and that often required going above and beyond the call of duty. He was happy to do it though, because Audrey was a good boss and her business was decent. He had seen enough shady operations throughout the course of his life to last him a lifetime, and he was glad that he was finally a part of something that was wholesome in a way.
Then, there was the fact that Ritchie wasn't used to having a... was she even his girlfriend? He would have liked to think of her as such, but he wasn't sure she was ready for that kind of thing. Maybe he was moving too quickly for her. He knew how the Slytherin mind worked, and he feared he was asking her for too much too fast. So, he backed off a little, though what surprised him the most was that she wasn't trying to contact him either. He'd sent her a few random owls here and there that went unreplied to, and that concerned him the most.
Finally, he decided to suck it up and pay her a visit. He wasn't sure what was going to happen or what she was going to make of him there, but he didn't care. He was a Gryffindor. Shoot first and ask questions later, that was the motto, and he was about to live up to that motto tonight. With a deep breath, he went up her stairs and knocked on her door. Now, he prayed to whatever werewolf gods existed out there that she would at least be home.
