Business. It was a necessary part of life, but it was rather disappointing to go to Draco's room and find that he was out late on business. While Astoria was far from the needy source, she was rather irritated all the same. She had found herself feeling a bit on the listless side when it came to her relationship. Draco had dated Pansy for how long and it hadn't worked out? Yet she, after dating him for less than a year, had her own guest room at the manor. When Astoria had asked if things were going backward, thinking that "I love you" and then shagging should've come first, Daphne had said that shagging typically came first. While Astoria wasn't in any desire to rush things, it had made her feel like she wasn't being challenged. She wasn't being pushed in any real way. While she was far from the sort to enjoy drama, preferring the least stress possible, she wanted something to challenge her. It was excessively happy when they were left to their own doings, so she really didn't see that tone lasting forever. It wasn't reality and, really, it was depressing for her to think on.
Thus, when she had come to Draco's room with the same pair of pyjamas that she had worn to a sleepover at Kherrie's, she had thought it good incentive to lure him into a talk about what she was feeling.
When he hadn't shown up after a bit, she went to "her" room and sketched until she dozed off there. While she normally would've just gone back to her flat, she didn't even want to bother going home to an empty flat. Astoria really did need to get a pet. Perhaps something to break her life up on the day-to-day would help with the feelings.
