WHO: Hannah Abbott and Neville Longbottom WHAT: Date night WHEN: Saturday night at 6 WHERE: Leaky, then TBA RATING: PG to PG-13? It is Hannah and Neville.
When Ginny had came and picked Lucy up, Hannah had tried quite hard not to show just how nervous she was. At that point, she hadn't even showered or changed. She had been in the clothing that she had been wearing all day. While she didn't really expect to have to dress up for their first date, there was a certain amount of desire to look... pretty. Generally, Hannah was as far from vain as she could get. Perhaps it was too self-conscious of her, but she did want to dress up a tiny bit. She had smiled when Ginny was there and tried to avoid conveying how worried she was about her first date in ages, then had panicked a little once her friend had left.
What if it was incredibly awkward? Neville hadn't really gone with her admittedly stupid last private entry to him. She had asked how he had been - who asked that about someone they had seen two days before? What if she couldn't come up with a good topic? She felt like she was back at Hogwarts, unsure what to do around any bloke who didn't treat her like a little sister.
Really, that was it. It was that mental shift that made her nervous. Granted, she was generally awkward around Neville, but that was because of a desire to make that mental shift. She just had to go with it. The instant that realization hit her, she calmed down considerably. She picked a light cream coloured top and paired it with a blue one over that. The blue was rather impractical to wear, as it was a bit too light of a fabric to be worn unless it was sunny and warm or if it had a charm on it for temperature control. She had then gone with a simple, loose fitting set of black slacks. It was casual, but pretty. She was ready - relatively calm - and waiting when six came around.
