WHO: Kenneth and [Open] WHAT: Kenneth is goofing off in the back room playing violin, someone comes into the shoppe WHERE: Kenneth's place of employment (store that sells furniture/accessories/etc shoppe with enchantments or magical customizations) WHEN: Saturday evening near closing time
It could sometimes be quite fruitful to keep the shoppe open on a Saturday. Other times, no one came in. This was a case of the latter. Kenneth had been the only soul to be in the place for the past few hours. He had finished up figuring out any paperwork and had organized the vast majority of the stock that could get out of order. Really, that was mostly jewelery and other small trinkets, but the store only carried a small inventory of such items. That left him with an issue - what to do for the next half hour before he closed.
Without giving it much thought, he moved to go to the back storage room. Along the way, he grabbed a violin that had a charm on it that prevented the strings from breaking. It had been in the store for ages, the price simply not being equal to the value of the product. Truthfully, Kenneth had marked it up a little too high. He was in no rush to sell it.
Without giving much thought to it, he started to play the violin in the back room. If someone came in, he'd hear the charmed bell on the door. He would simply stop and claim it to be a violin he was working on charming to play itself or the like if the music was asked about the music. He had done this before and, the simple fact was that no one ever did ask.
Still, when there was a chime from the bell and he had to stop he couldn't help but let out a small sigh. He put on a smile and sat the instrument down, all the same, before going out to see who had come into the store. "Hello. Is there anything I can help you with?"
