Death was real to Neville too, which was why he had decided to take a stand. His parents had been made insane for seventeen years, only to later be murdered. He didn't want anyone else to ever go through that again. He felt for Lucy, losing her father as an infant. At least she still had Hannah. Neville had promised himself that he wouldn't let anything happen to her.
