Who: Astoria Greengrass and Adrian Pucey
Where: Diagon Alley (near Baxter Bakery)
When: Saturday morning
What: Astoria is sulky
Astoria had been coping until Draco's last owl and his rude response to her sister. Astoria had felt like it would be a waste of time for her to even try, but she had felt so guilty over her desire to bail on the Germany trip that she had relented without any real resistance. She didn't feel any desire to resist. She hadn't been expecting an owl from Draco and the simple fact was that he had sent one and completely blindsided her. It had left her feeling almost numb. The hurt - the questions of "what if" - all of that hadn't been there before his owl. His owl had been a new slap to the face and had left her feeling worse than she had been after their actual "break up."
Rather early in the morning, she slipped out of her flat and went to Diagon Alley. She figured to run to the bakery to get something utterly sweet and horrible for herself... and maybe a few things to take home as well. If she was going to properly sulk in her room for a day or two, she needed provisions.
Still, it seemed she should've put more forethought into the run to Diagon Alley. She hadn't bothered to put makeup on and she was staring at the ground, figuring no one would notice or talk to her. She was rather under the radar, after all. That could've and would've been true had she actually looked up as she was walking. Since she was staring at the ground, she knocked into someone nearby. She glanced up, frowning, her tone rather flat. "Sorry. Nothing damaged, I assume?"
