WHO: Lisa Turpin and [Open] WHAT: Random encounter WHERE: Right outside of Hogsmeade WHEN: Late afternoon Thursday
If there was anything that seemed to require a person to cheer up, it was a fuzzy little ball of fur that loved unconditionally. That was the case for Lisa and her new dog, at least. While she still didn't understand Chase's fascination with his rope chew toy, she loved coming home from work to the happy little dog. There was something really refreshing and almost power trip like to having a creature's entire live revolve around her and her life. The instant she got off work, it was when the world started to the little puppy. She was all too happy to return that loyalty and affection with plenty of walks and treats.
One could only walk the same path so many times before it got boring, even if Chase was still thrilled with it all. Lisa figured that, all the same, the dog wouldn't mind a new area to explore. With that mentality, she popped over to Hogsmeade to take the dog for a walk around the outer limits of the small town. She hadn't been there since school and, past giving Chase a new experience, something about taking a trip back and looking around appealed to her.
What she hadn't counted on was Chase taking to barking at a person passing nearby. While it wasn't a Hogwarts student, given that it was a Thursday, but after a glance it seemed like it may have been a person who was a Hogwarts student when she had been in school. It only took a few moments for the identity of the person to register with her.
