Who: Stephen and Lavender to start, then open to Merlin's Pants for their box at the quiddy match
When: We're pretending the original date was set for Saturday and not Friday, as stuff came up Friday. O_O (Also, if you want Mandy and Stephen to have a dinner-and-playing-music scene for last night, we can totally do that, too!)
Where: Starting at Lavender's place, then the box at the quiddy match
What: A date(?) and then hanging out and watching the game.
Stephen was fairly nervous. He wasn't sure if this was a date date, or if they were just hanging out as friends, or if this as a date that wasn't a date... he knew that he wanted to ask her about Rob, for sure. But was that improper date etiquette? Probably not. Stephen was really shite with girls. He'd scored with a couple of groupies while they were all on tour, but he'd been pounced upon. He'd never instigated anything with a girl. He didn't want to get wrapped up in girls, just as he didn't want to get wrapped up in alcohol or other intoxicants. He felt that he needed to find himself as a person (as a musician, as a wizard, as a man, as a friend) before he could figure out who he was as a boyfriend or a lover. And that was impossible to do while distracted or intoxicated.
But, anyway, back to this evening. He showed up at Lavender's door and knocked. He was dressed nicely, in slacks and a button-down shirt under his jacket. He could pass for wizard or muggle in these dark clothes, and hoped that the restaurant he'd chosen for dinner would be all right by Lavender's standards. Lost in thoughts about the restaurant choice and how she would react, he jumped when the door opened.
