Ritchie knew what he was doing was a bold thing, but he couldn't help it. Going back into the Wizarding World now, even though he promised himself it would only be for a little while and only to keep Kherrie company, was a bit suicidal at the moment. Werewolves had just make a huge fuss over at the Ministry and ended up killing someone. Surely, he was going mad with all these thoughts of going back now. What if someone spotted him? What if someone suspected he was a werewolf? What if he hurt Kherrie by some freak accident? He wouldn't be able to live with himself. But for now, he would have to be a brave Gryffindor and keep all that shit to himself.
He also knew that packing a bag full of clothes was another bold thing to do. He didn't think she would ask him to stay exactly, but he still wanted to be near her. And when she asked him to leave, he would simply find himself a room at the Leaky Cauldron or something or other. The particulars of it didn't matter. His one and only mission was to protect Kherrie as best as he could. After saying goodbye to Bailey and briefly explaining to his uncle that he would be out of town for a while, he walked out of his uncle's place until he reached a dark alley.
Lately, it seemed as though things kept happening to him on dark street corners. When he passed out and Kherrie found him. When he showed Kherrie a safe place to apparate from. Now, preparing to apparate himself. He tried not to think too much on that and focused on getting to Kherrie's. It happened in an instant, and when he opened his eyes, he was standing at her door. He raised a fist and knocked twice. He sure hoped she wasn't in knickers or something, though that was a terrible thing to think of at the moment.
