"I think Charlie is still up for the idea of having his appendages removed by an animal." Penelope shook her head. She was pretty daring, but there were limits. "She might be a bit more concerned if she knew how close he was getting to a completely unsedated leopard. A mother leopard with a cub, no less."
Penny wasn't looking forward to that aspect of pregnancy. She had a hard enough time staying at her current weight and she definitely wasn't dainty.
"It's always a good week when no one intentionally tries to murder me," she said, laughingly. "Everyone does seems unusually happy, don't they?" That can't last long, she thought to herself. Penny didn't want her pessimism to rub Ginny the wrong way, however, so she stayed silent.
"I can't blame you. I mean, I do like to clean and organize, but this house has a few too many rooms for one witch to maintain." Despite her love for magical creatures of all sorts, Penelope was not one of those that abhorred the use of House Elves (unless they were being mistreated, of course). That was one of the very few things she and Hermione ever disagreed about.
