He was watching her face, and he thought at first she was going to be cross. But her words contradicted what he thought he saw on her face, "You tell me when, Daphne. I owe you."
He said it simply, pleased at how things might work out, "Should I dress up as well? Wear the slacks and that shirt you picked out for me? Or am I going to need to get a suit?"
He sort of gulped at the idea; he didn't own a suit but it certainly seemed the way things were going.
