Marcus nodded in agreement. Wolves were supposed to be solitary, if the phrase was to be believed, but they were pack animals. Marcus may not have been an alpha dog, but he still needed the pack. He needed a sense of community and even sitting quietly in a bar gave him some of that.
"Even if nobody talks to me, it's still nice to have company." And he liked to think that everyone out alone on a Thursday night was at least a little lonely, like him. Though, if truth be told, he was a lot less lonely since Sunday.
