Hi all! Kira here! I recognize a few of you from games past, but for those of you that don't know me, I'm a 30 year old graduate student currently suffering through the turmoil of trying to put together a coherent thesis. I've been mostly doing fandom rp the last few years. It's been awhile since I've done an original character game, especially one this large, so forgive me if it takes a bit for me to get into the swing of things. I can be found at makelovestay for various character development things, and I'm situated in EST, though I do tend to keep rather odd hours for anyone who might want to sag me in the middle of the night. I have one character as of the moment, and I'll be introducing him behind the cut.
LOGAN ZACHARY WINTHROP, MIRAGE. 30, Metahuman Resident [Beta] + Art Teacher. Has the power of Mirage Induction, which is to say that he can make things look and sound differently than what is actually present but the illusions have no physical form or presence. He can effect both an entire large area or just summon up smaller illusions. He doesn't really think it has any practical purposes, but it does come in handy for generating unusual models for his classes, taking 'vacations' without ever leaving the comfort of his own room, and masking his presence when he doesn't feel up to talking to other people.
Logan is a "muggleborn" who came into his powers unusually early, manifesting at the age of four, and was dropped off at the Chicago facility a week afterward by two grief stricken parents he barely remembers at this point. Growing up on the facility pretty much on his own left him feeling beholden to those overseeing the facility. As such, he's excessively obedient and adaptable to any requests made from him. In fact, it's one of the reasons that he failed his psychological evaluation to be an Operative when he applied at eighteen. I imagine some of the other residents probably see him as a pushover especially when his willingness to defend himself is next to nil (though, if you pick on someone else in front of him, expect immediate opposition), he's very 'yes, sir. no, sir.' with even the most prejudice Agents, and he'll help anyone with anything if asked, no matter how dirty or awful the task is. He'd argue, of course, that it's just polite all the while secretly resenting anyone that decides to take advantage of that. He wants to help, but come on, guys. A little appreciation isn't much to ask.
I can also be reached by email at penofdl@gmail.com for in-depth plotting and on AIM at peacekeeperdl for quick discussion or group chats. I look forward to playing with all of you!
