Due to your outstanding performance this season, you're invited to participate in the inaugural British and Irish Quidditch League All-Star Charity Weekend, to be held September 9th - 11th.
Friday evening will be a skills competition, during which invited players will be able to compete for positions on two teams that will play each other Saturday afternoon. Tickets will be sold to both events, the proceeds of which will go to the Order of the Phoenix Foundation. Sunday morning, a charity breakfast will be held in which fans will be able to purchase tickets and join players from their favourite teams for a dining experience unlike any other.
Established shortly after the war ended in 1998, the Order of the Phoenix Foundation has assisted in rebuilding the wizarding world, as well as providing families affected by the war with financial assistance. To date, the Foundation has contributed heavily in rebuilding Hogwarts, as well as repairing both Muggle and Magical locations throughout Britain. In addition, children who lost one or both parents during the war have been able to attend Hogwarts through funding provided through the Foundation.
This event is being sponsored by the British and Irish Quidditch League, the Ministry of Magic's Department of Magical Games and Sports, and The Daily Prophet. The event is likely to become an annual occurrence, with a different charity being selected each year by a governing board that will consist of employees of both the league and Ministry, as well as players. Details on the board will be made available prior to the first All-Star Charity Weekend.
It is our hope that you'll consider accepting this invitation and join the sport's best players in providing not only a weekend of entertainment, but also the opportunity to serve a great cause, reflecting on the best that the British and Irish Quidditch League has to offer.
Sincerely,
