Who:George and Ginny What:Sibling conversation time! Where:Their flat When: Friday-Before Skeeter's article, after Charity Match try-outs Rating:language maybe? Discussion of adult themes? Status: Complete
Ginny was exhausted, in many senses of the word, but for the moment she was satisfied. She had had an excellent morning, showing rare form even for herself. She felt like she had a lot to prove, between all the backlash after the Prophet article exposed to Guardians, and Roger having to convince the charity (founded by the Order, how humiliating is that?)to even let her play, Ginny wanted to show everyone that she hadn't let it all get to her.
So Neville, Luna, Hannah, Ernie and a host of other people were mad at her. So nearly everyone around her was looking at her suspiciously. At the very least, she still had Harry, and Hermione, Ron and George, of course. Whatever else happened, they were by her side.
There she sat, on the couch in the flat she shared with George, with her feet on the coffee table and her arms stretched over the back of the couch, enjoying a rare moment of calm alone, when she heard the familiar clip of feet on steps up to the flat, and knew her brother must be done for the day. She smiled as he entered, calling a greeting from her seat, "Oy, Brother, come congratulate your amazing sister on her Quidditch victory!"
