Who: Daphne Greengrass and Astoria Greengrass
What: Sisters having tea and then shopping
Where: Daphne's flat and then around Diagon Alley
When: Monday evening
Rating: I imagine pretty low. Possibly mild swearing
Daphne sat reading one of her fashion magazines on the sofa in the main room of her flat, one leg crossed over the other and her back straight. Good posture and presence was a must, even when she was home alone. It was best to practice these things all the time - that way one would never forget or get too comfortable when they were in the presence of others. That was something Daphne's mother drilled into her head from a young age. 'Do this, don't do that...' These were common unwritten laws of growing up a female in a pureblood household. Well, one like Daphne's, whose parents had been in Slytherin house and whose parents supported the pureblood etiquette. It was something she most likely would always practice. Things like this were not easily forgotten. There were some things however she already decided not to continue to follow once she moved out of her parents house. She swore and she drank and she worked. If her mother had her way - Daphne wouldn't be doing any of those.
So here she was on her couch waiting... waiting for her little sister to get there so the two of them could catch up on each other's lives. Daphne and Astoria had always been close siblings and she hoped it would always be that way. The two had quite a bit in common and Daphne wanted to keep that close bond with her so she would always know that if she ever needed an out from her parents or a place to turn - she'd go to her first. She'd do anything she could for the girl. She smiled slightly as the thought of her sister filled her mind. They really needed to do this more often.
Daphne quickly looked down to make sure her clothes were still presentable. She wasn't overly dressed - just a pair of designer jeans, a pale yellow button up shirt and some leather flats to match her top. Just as she finished looking herself over - she heard a knock at the door and called to her House-Elf, Circe, and told her to let Astoria into the house and bring her into the main room. She closed her magazine and threw it on the table in front of the couch and waited for her sister to enter the room.
