DEATH EATERS ESCAPE AZKABAN
AGAIN
By Rita Skeeter, Journalist
In a shocking announcement, the Ministry of Magic has revealed that early this morning, dangerous Death Eater Rodolphus Lestrange broke into the Wizarding Prison Azkaban and freed a large portion of the previously captured Death Eaters.
It was reported that Lestrange used Dementors in order to over-power the prison guards and gain control of the facility. Over thirty hitwizards have been reported as in a coma-like state after receiving the Dementor's Kiss.
Lestrange, one of the followers of You-Know-Who, has been missing and presumed dead for over four years. It is now believed he fled to Europe and hid there. His crimes during the reign of You-Know-Who include torture, murder and excessive use of the Cruciatus Curse.
The Ministry are advising Witches and Wizards not to approach any strangers or suspected Death Eaters, and instead are encouraging everyone to keep a vigilant eye and report any strange occurrences to the Department of Magical Law Enforcement.
"Though we are unsure of the exact number of escapees at the moment, it is to be assumed that they are armed and extremely dangerous. But we believe that a strict Auror investigation will lead to several arrests within the next week."
Among the survivors of the attack on Azkaban was Hestia Jones, head of the DMLE. She is currently being treated for injuries at St Mungo's, and is not currently available for comment on the circumstances that led to this drastic lapse in national security.
If you have any concerns about the Death Eaters, or have any information regarding their whereabouts, please contact the Ministry of Magic.
