Who: Rodolphus Lestrange & those in Azkaban
When: Thursday Morning
Where: Azkaban Prison
What: Rescue and freedom

Their footsteps echoed in the corridor as they emerged from the fire of Azkaban's entrance. The flames resumed their heat again almost as soon as Rodolphus and Hestia were clear, flickering hot-blue against the stones behind them. The only way in or out of the prison was to pass through the flames without getting burned.
Well, the only way for now...

With his use for her expired, Rodolphus muttered a paralysing curse and dropped her rigid body to the floor, savouring the sound of her head thudding against the cold stones. She could still see him, and he could see the panic in her eyes.
"No point in killing you just yet," He smiled at her, lifting his wand toward the stone wall furthest from him, "No, I've my pets to feed."

"REDUCTO!" Rodolphus bellowed causing the wall to erupt in a shower of stone, opening the side of the building to the elements. Waves crashed against the walls at the base of the building; the entire prison an Island uncharted in the sea. But it wasn't the elements that rushed in through the gap in the wall.

Black shapes, like ghosts or spectres, crowded the gap, filling the corridor and drifting away through the prison like leaves in the wind. The air grew colder, Hestia's breath clouding from her nose. Behind Rodolphus, the largest of the creatures settled to hover at his shoulder, and around his feet curled the silver form of a snake.

Rodolphus had brought Dementors.

He pressed his wand to his neck and quickly cast 'Sonorus' and his voice echoed out through the cells, offices and chambers. Everywhere, guards who had nothing better to do than play exploding snap and wait for a change of shift had suddenly found themselves set upon by more Dementors than they could possibly handle.
"Kill the guards," Rodolphus commanded, "Feast on them."

He looked down at Hestia and grinned; a cruel, dark smile of a man who showed no remorse for killing others. Screams started up all around as innocent hitwizards were subjected to the cruellest punishment, the Dementor's Kiss.

As the cries faded, the Dementors began to line up in front of the cells, hovering outside the bars, watching the prisoners inside, but watching them without eyes. The air was frozen, sound seemed to hover longer than it should. The Dementors drained the defenceless wizards of their happiness as they waited for a next command.

"Brothers!" Rodolphus said, voice ringing clear, "Hear me, Rodolphus Lestrange! I have come to free you from your imprisonment here. I've come to take you away and give you a new chance. Your last chance.

"My friends, I shall take Voldemort's place. He was a fool, obsessed with life eternal, and prophecies, but there is no destiny cursing my crusade! We will take his place, we will bring down the Ministry that runs this country into the ground, and we shall purify the honourable Wizarding race!"

"And all it will take, is your trust in me. I have risked everything to free you today, and now ask you to do the same. Those of you who wish to join me, reach out and take the hand of the Dementor in front of you, and they shall whisk you from this place. They are a Portkey. A living Portkey! You will be free, and you will owe me your life.
If you wish to stay, to cower in this place, then stay back, and live your life in this place, and regret. I have no time to waste on cowards."

The sound of Portkeys flared up across the building, as dark wizards reached out and grasped the hand of freedom, overcoming the disgust and terror at touching the hand of a Dementor. At the same moment, a blaring screech exploded through the corridors, as the alarm was triggered.
Rodolphus growled in anger and looked down at Hestia on the floor near him. As if it was her fault, he lifted his foot and brought it down heavily on her nose, breaking it and leaving her face a bloody mess.
"For those of you who decided to stay, I have only this to say..... kiss them."

Rodolphus turned and clutched the hand of the largest dementor at his side, and instantly vanished, leaving Hestia on the floor as the remaining Dementors swept over her, draining one last sliver of emotion before they swept out of Azkaban and into the storm raging outside.
Around her, the screaming stopped, as every prisoner still left in their cell, was left an empty shell.
