Hallo fellow players!

I'm DCJ bringing you Theodore Nott, more Slytherin than Death Eater and 'recently' returned from world travelling (or the bit of it that he could get to on foot anyway)

He's unemployed and living in Knockturn at the moment, still obsessed with thestrals and sitting on the fence about the encroaching magical war (albeit with his legs swinging firmly into the Light side of said fence)

I offer him up for playage and I'm always happy to listen to SL ideas.

I'm contactable by email (barbedwirekitty at gmail.com) but this week at work is definitely kicking my ass, so including a heavy drinking session on Friday I probably won't be able to devote my 100% here until Saturday.

THIS little bundle of ginger is Ron Weasley, who I'm pretty sure most of you will be familiar with. He's currently in Auror training, an active member of the New Order, and his ears still go pink if you bring up the fact that he's dating Hermione one too many times.

Just an FYI, certain followers of You-Know-Who, captured and detained in Azkaban, have been given special journals by one of the Auror teams. The idea is that hopefully other Death Eaters may contact them and any information obtained via the journal can be used to track down the remaining few who escaped.
They don't have wands, and cannot hex. Anything hexed to them will be readable by Aurors who periodically check the journals for clues and replies.

The DEs must remain civil and cordial to members of the public they are capable of communicating with, or else lose all privilege the journal offers.

Another intro!  I'm Jeanne, and I'm bringing along one Miles Bletchley.  Like his fiancé Kathryn, Miles is a Barrister in the International Magical Office of Law.  He's a former Slytherin (class of 1996), and a "former" Death Eater- he was able to avoid detection for his crimes during the war (as he was still rather young and not very active among the DE rankings). 

Miles is the only son/heir of the Bletchley family, and he was raised to expect the very best out of life- he has high standards and expectations, for himself and for others.  He is confident, and can be blunt and sarcastic at times, but generally he has an expert "poker face" and is very good at keeping things close to his chest, if need be.

I'd love to sort out plot for him- he definitely wants to be involved in the evil goings-on!  Not that he's advertising that publicly, of course.  ;)  You can find me on AIM at fredadverb, or email serdaigle-at-gmail.  I, too, am in US-EST/GMT-5.  ♥

Hello everyone!

Following Fran's start, I'd like to welcome everyone and introduce myself to you all, and clearly another mod post is the way to go about that :)

I'm Tara, I'm British (meaning I'm in GMT) and I'm currently finishing up my second year Uni exams for summer. This is the first game I've run on IJ, and I'm happy to admit that without Fran's amazing arty/html-y skills this would not look half as awesome.

I'm going to be playing the lovely Stephen Cornfoot, and the slightly neurotic but otherwise well-meaning Hestia Jones.

Stephen's a slightly typical pureblood, though he's not completely caught up in the pureblood values. However, he doesn't mind spending some of the family money! He was a Ravenclaw, and is typically bookish, and currently works as a Healer at St Mungo's.

Hestia works in the ministry, and is very over-organized, slightly busybody-ish, but very loyal and well-meaning. She was in Gryffindor, and would be a little older than trio-age, but chances are anyone at the ministry, especially those in DMLE would know her!

Obviously, the game will be starting soon, and I'm really looking forward to getting going and playing with you all! I figured now might be a great time for a mod post! So here it is!

I'm Fran! Modly number 2!
I'm British, 24, my favourite book is American Gods by Neil Gaiman and this is the second game I've made (the first being a rather wonderful thing called Plagued which ended far too premature).

Anyway, I'm currently playing Justin Finch-fletchley and Glenda Chittock.

Justin is the Hufflepuff muggle-born wizard who, after his brief detention in Azkaban due to Death Eaters, made his way into the Ministry with an eye on the Minister for Magic job!
He's a nice guy, who, if you've never met him, you've probably seen interviews with him in the Daily Prophet about government things.

Glenda Chittock is the more obscure character. She's a radio presenter on the Wizarding Wireless Network and hosts the Witching Hour. She's a tough, no non-sense woman who was about when the Marauders were doing their rounds in Hogwarts.
