He studied her for a moment. The stars were falling and she liked to watch them. That was rather interesting considering his goal for the evening had been much the same. There was no possible way she could know that, though. Unless someone had spoken to her about his fascination with studying the night sky and that was quite unlikely.
It was just a strange coincidence, that was all.
But, he watched her, not only curious about her wanting to watch the falling starts but also a little concerned about whether or not the things falling from her mouth as she spoke hurt her. Henry imagined it must be terribly uncomfortable.
There was also the matter of what was he going to do now. He didn't really want to tell her that he had the same intention and that he actually had a pretty nice location he frequented to do just this same thing. However, he didn't really want to abandon her there alone. Would she have at least gotten herself a horse, or was she intending wander about alone, on foot and unarmed? If something happened, someone recognized her and some harm came to her and he had been aware of her intentions... there would be no living with himself.
So much for keeping his secret hobby a secret. He didn't sigh or scowl. Henry nodded, tried to give her a small smile since there was no need to be rude and tipped his head toward the door. “Come with me,” he said and stepped to the door, opened it and held it open for her. “I'm stopping at the stables first.”
