"He'll tell people there's a mission coming up. Either he'll ask for volunteers or he'll tell you who's going. There's usually no advanced notice about the world, though once he did provide clothes so we'd fit in. It isn't until we're actually sent there that we usually get a pre-recorded message about the world and what the mission is. He doesn't explicitly say what's broken about it."
She slumped into a chair next to Steve and made a point not to stare at the girl with the wings and the leather jacket-- which meant not looking at her at all.
"I'm Marty Jason," she added at the end, offering a small nod to the two people she hadn't formally met.
