♥ LET THE FUN AND GAMES BEGIN! ♥

This for reference of what the terrace area looks like.
This the bar area
This is the coffee shop area

The Ice Luge had drinks flowing through it, the lights were dimmed with a rosy glow, the band was in full swing playing a variety of rock, pop and blues music while people were dancing and having a good time. It wasn't even 8:00 p.m. yet. Zen had to open the doors early because of how many people had been waiting outside at 7:30pm. He had decided that having a huge buildup of people would cause more problems than he needed to deal with.

The staff wore white tops if they worked the cafe and black if they worked the bar. All Staff wore black pants and black shoes with jewelry was kept to a minimum. So far, everyone who came in had heeded the attire request on the invitation. With how many people were coming in the door before wandering out onto the terrace or securing a table, Zen didn't think he would mind the odd slip in the color scheme. He was too busy at the bar fielding drink requests.

At the moment Zen hadn't seen any of the other people he had managed to make friends with yet but that was subject to change soon enough. Putting his head back down he continued to field drink orders and silently thanked whoever was listening that he had set up the wine in the same place as the coffee to take some of the bar traffic.

CARTER FAMILY CAST OUT

by Vicki Vale
The Homeowner's Association regretfully farewelled the Carter family in the early hours of Tuesday morning. Mr. and Mrs. James Carter and their daughters Mandy and Beth, formerly of Cherry Grove, reportedly spent the majority of Monday packing their belongings in what appeared to be a spur of the moment decision.

"I've never seen anyone pack so fast - it was like someone was chasing them," one onlooker told this reporter. A look inside the windows of the Carter family's former residence proved that this assessment was at least partially correct, as the rooms were bare but appeared hastily emptied, with several of the family's personal effects still scattered among various left over packing materials.

James Carter, 47, was a stockbroker at Bank & Rowe in nearby Astoria. Late Friday afternoon, the news broke that Carter had been embezzling from the firm for at least thirteen months. In all Carter took almost $380,000, money which has yet to be recovered. Sources at Bank & Rowe speculate that Carter spent the money long before he was caught, perhaps on his eldest daughter's college tuition. "Carter was such a quiet guy," said Denny Bates, of the cubicle next to Carter's. "He came in each morning, he minded his own business all day, and he went home at night. Never clocked a lot of overtime, but he plowed through a whole lot of work so no one really minded. And now we find out he's had his hand in the cookie jar this whole time!"

Members of the Homeowner's Association declined to give the Sentinel a direct quote, but sent a one page brief to the newspaper office early this morning. According to the brief, the Carter Family, long thought to be upstanding citizens, were approached early on Monday morning by delegates of the Homeowner's Association, at which time it was made plain that they were aware of Mr. Carter's lawbreaking and subsequent dismissal, and that the family would be required to leave The Lakes at Toulon within the next 48 hours.
