Uhura didn't think of any of them like that. She had had her affections monopolized for quite some time now, and she doubted that that was going to change. Granted, they say that when the cat's away, the mice will play, but this mouse had no intentions of being anything other than loyal. This really was just nothing more than serving as a giant living teddy bear of security.
Slipping into the other side of the bed, Uhura turned on her side to face him, offering Leonard a supportive smile as she tucked her hands under her chin, "What are friends for if not to provide moral support when another friend has their head shoved so far up their own ass that they can't see what should be obviously in front of them?" She asked, her smile becoming teasing again before she reached out for his hand, giving it a light squeeze. "It's going to all work out in the end. One way or another."
