"Can't mutiny without a ship," Uhura said, the playfulness still present in her voice until she was asked to stay. Uhura might have been slightly surprised by the request, but she wasn't at all put off by it, nor did the sympathy that she had for him change into pity like one might expect it to. He'd been through a lot lately. Uhura truly couldn't fault him for not wanting to be alone when he was this vulnerable.
"Of course," the reply came simple enough as she run a hand through his hair. "As long as you need me to," She said, standing for a moment as she crossed the room, turning off the computer monitor. "Why don't we try and get some sleep?"
