"I'm impressed," Bones conceded, polishing off his whiskey. "Half the time, I'm convinced Jim doesn't remember my name, and I've known him for years." He couldn't help it. He was fairly sure Jim hadn't called him anything but Bones in three years. "And you may look a lot of things, but stupid sure ain't one of them." He laughed, shaking his head. "You might've mentioned that a time or two. Can't say I'm faulting your logic right now though." Oh lord, he had not just said that. He had told himself he wasn't going to sleep with anyone tonight.
"Probably head out of here soon anyway," he said. "Not exactly the sort of place you stick around very long. He choked on a laugh at her last comment. "Right. I'll be sure to keep that in mind."
