She looked so tiny. Gabriel couldn't help the quiet swell of worry and fear that rose in his throat at the thought that this might not really work. He didn't know what he'd do if it didn't. "I'm going to do my best," Gabriel said as he entered the room behind McCoy, pausing for a moment to spare the other man a reassuring glance before stepping over and kneeling next to the bed.
"Just lay back and close your eyes, sweetheart," Gabriel said as gently as he could, the healing sparking on his hands before he'd even really touched her. It was almost as though his mind could sense that there was something here and something strong that needed to be gotten rid of. Moving one hand to gently brush over her hair before pressing his hand to her forehead.
