A few moments of thought, Noah remaining silent, the boy suddenly asked, "What about Uncle Peter? When's he from?" He could only assume his uncle wasn't from the same time as he was, as that Uncle Peter wasn't scared of being around people. He might not come around as much as Noah would like, but he definitely wasn't afraid to do it.
"Is that why he didn't have a scar when he came by our house, dad? Was that Peter from some other time too?" He knew, although it hadn't really occurred to him yet, that Gabriel wouldn't actually know the answer to that question. He'd just gotten through saying that he wasn't from that time. But Noah couldn't seem to keep from asking him the questions that he was asking himself. He'd never kept things from his dad before, not if he was curious about them, and he couldn't imagine starting now.
