As soon as the words had left his mouth, Remus had regretted them. He wasn't being fair to Sirius, and he really needed to say something to make him understand that he didn't actually feel that way. He had just been angry and hurt and had taken it out on the other boy. There was a part of him that still loved Sirius and always would, and that part of him-
That part of him suddenly didn't matter any more as he felt a sharp pain in the side of his face. He'd seen it coming and turned his head enough that it didn't break his nose, but he was still bleeding. He stumbled back from the force of it, and at least in part from shock at the fact that Sirius had just hit him, managing to catch himself on his hands as he hit the floor. His wrist protested, still hurting from when he'd injured it the previous night, and he looked up at Sirius, eyes wide with shock and a hint of fear. The moon had left him weak and he knew that if Sirius wanted to hurt him, he couldn't do a thing to stop it.
"Get out." It was a choked whisper, almost too quiet after all the shouting. "Just...get out!" He couldn't stand to look at Sirius right now.
