Oh bloody hell. Remus turned slowly, mindful of his injuries and more than a little disinclined to deal with Sirius right now. He'd just had a rather rough night and he wanted to sleep, not listen to the lecture he was certain to get from the other boy for going off without telling him. Maybe it hadn't been fair to Sirius, but he'd known that if he did tell, Sirius would try to talk him out of locking himself up. And he didn't want to change his plans. If he was locked up, everyone was safer.
"Not now, Sirius," he said quietly, too tired for the conversation he knew was coming. "Just...not now." He headed toward his room, intent on going to his room, sleeping for a few hours, and avoiding Sirius for the rest of his natural existence.
