Remus sighed with frustration, knowing he was never going to get through to Snape. The other boy was, quite frankly, far too stubborn, bitter and paranoid for anyone's good. He couldn't really blame him, what with the way James and Sirius acted toward him, and he did regret his own inaction when his friends chose to make Snape's life hellish. Still, he really wasn't in any fit state to deal with Snape's moods. The fact was that James and Sirius weren't here. He and Snape were. And they were just going to have to learn to get along if they wanted to find a way to get back to their own time. And that was that.
"For the love of God, Severus," he snapped, using the boy's given name to get his attention, "put down the bloody wand! I don't even have mine on me and I'm hardly going to bite you." Honestly, he really did wonder about Snape sometimes. "What happened last year...I never knew he would do that...if I had..." His hands shook when he even thought about what Sirius had done. It wasn't something he had completely forgiven his best friend for. "I never would have let him do something so stupid!"
He sighed. "I'm in this flat because it's the flat I was assigned to live in." He gestured to his bedroom vaguely. "That one's my room. I guess this makes us flatmates. I'd appreciate it if you don't try to murder me while I'm sleeping."
